Katie Pamment graduated from Falmouth College of Art in 2002, having studied Illustration. Before going on to do her Masters Degree in Illustration at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, she spent two and a half years working as an in-house illustrator for a greetings cards company in Chichester. Katie now lives in the Scottish Highlands with her cat Melu and her Labrador Lucky.
