Kate Leake studied Illustration for Childrens Publishing at The North Wales School of Art & Design, graduating in 2004 with a book award and a D&AD Commendation. She has been illustrating books and greetings cards ever since, and is currently working on a giant mural for a cafe! In her spare time, Kate likes playing the saxophone and going to live music gigs and theatre shows.
She also loves lovely long walks and picnics in the park (with strawberries of course!) Kate lives in the sunny city of Stoke-on-Trent with her family, and Barney the dog.
