Elena has illustrated three beautiful books for Meadowside. In 2004 Vegetable Glue, written by Susan Chandler, was nominated for a Kate Greenaway Medal. Her wonderful sense of colour and her innovative style have one her numerous awards and her artwork is loved around the world.

She lives and works in San Sebastian, in the Basque region of Spain.
