Anna Laura Cantone was born in 1977 in Alessandria, Italy. She took a degree in Illustration for Children in 1999 at the Institute European di Design in Milan. Initially she worked as a freelance illustrator for children's magazines but her career has since blossomed and she is now sought after to write and illustrate books for internationally renowned publishers.
