Ellie Bethel grew up in Kent, near
Canterbury, but has travelled the
world living in Belize, London
and New York. She has always
wanted to be a children's writer
and had her first poem published
when she was just 11, at school she
even acquired the nickname Yellow
Ellie for her Purple Ronnie style
poems. She has recently returned
to the UK and is currently living in
Whitstable, Kent, thinking about
Michael Recycle's next adventure.
