Jessie Anderson was brought up in New Zealand. She read Philosophy at University and after graduation came to Britain for a career in journalism. She worked for many years on various Scottish newspapers, including 'The Scotsman'. She continues to work as a journalist whilst writing children stories. Cinder the Bubble Blowing Dragon is her first book with Meadowside Children's Books.
